    Problems Fixed:
         Fixed an issue prompting Windows ID 57 "Communication Timeout" errors in the Windows Event Viewer.
         Issue was caused when iLO was extremely busy servicing Virtual Media requests and
         an "hpqilo2.sys" (health) driver IPMI request timed out. This caused the iLO 2 FW
         and the "hpqilo2.sys" driver lose synchronization between the incoming request and
         the outgoing response. The visible indicator of this issue is multiple "ID 57" errors
         logged in the Windows Event Viewer by the hpqilo2.sys driver. This update also requires
         version 1.12.0.0 of the "hpqilo2.sys" (health) device driver.
         
         Fixed an issue that could cause iLO 2 UHCI controller to halt after detecting a PCI
         timeout error on HP DL385 G5p and HP DL385 G6 servers. Symptoms of this issue are: 1) iLO 2
         Virtual Keyboard/Mouse stop responding, 2) Windows Server 2003 hangs when shutting down,
         3) Windows Server 2003 suddenly stops responding.
         
         Fixed an issue introduced in iLO 2 v1.81 where the iLO 2 Virtual Keyboard/Mouse could
         fail to initialize when installing Linux or VMWare ESX 4.0.

  • Corrected several problems reported by third party network vulnerability
        scanners.
  • Changed the range of valid VLAN tags in the error message dialog box to

  • Corrected a problem where iLO 2 did not properly handle an infinite lease
        granted by a DHCP server.
  • Corrected a problem where iLO 2 was unable to find the authoritative DNS
        server to register its name and IP address with.

    Web pages

  • Corrected a problem that caused the Directory Test Log page to be
        displayed incorrectly in the web browser.
  • Changed the way the server name is displayed on iLO 2's web pages so that
        certain special characters in the server name will no longer cause errors.
  • Corrected a problem that caused a Run Time Error to be displayed when the
        user clicked on Help on the System Information web page.
  • Updated the Status Summary Help page to reflect web page changes.
  • Updated System Information Help to include power information.
  • Corrected a minor grammar on the iLO 2 Licensing Help page.

    • Event Logs

  • Added power on/off events to the iLO event log when the server is powered
        on or off via the Integrated Remote Console.
  • Changed Integrated Remote Console to correctly log the user name for
        virtual media and virtual power events.

    • Miscellaneous

  • Corrected a problem that caused a Windows install using Virtual Media to
       take an excessive amount of time.
  • Corrected a problem that caused cpqlocfg to be unable to add a password of
       maximum length to a user account.
  • Corrected a problem that caused cpqlocfg to be unable to set the minimum
       password length to 0.
  • Corrected a problem that caused the I2C self test to fail.
  • Corrected a problem that caused iLO 2 to fail to log a user in if the
        directory had multiple user contexts and the user was not in the first
        context.
  • When multiple directory servers were listed by DNS name rather than IP
        address, iLO 2 would only try the first one when attempting to log a user
        in. This has been corrected.
  • Corrected a problem where iLO 2 would not allow to the server to perform
        a one time PXE boot when requested to by RDP.
  • Corrected a problem where the UID light did not stop blinking when
        Remote Console was closed.
